Hat Patch Pressing Instructions
PLEASE READ: Every hat press heats and applies pressure differently. The temperatures and times below are recommended starting points. Adjustments may be necessary depending on your press, hat style, and material.
Single-Platen Hat Press
- Preheat the hat for 20–30 seconds
- Temperature: 300°F
- Press Time: 40 seconds
- Use firm, even pressure
Dual-Platen Hat Press
- Preheat the hat for 20–30 seconds
- Top Platen: 280°F
- Bottom Platen: 320°F
- Press Time: 40 seconds
- Use firm, even pressure
For best results, make sure the patch has even contact with the hat during the entire pressing cycle.
